OK, I bought a 68 Thunderbird, I only got the door/ ignition key, the seller said if he can get his son to find the other key he would mail it to me. It is a1968 2 door Thunderbird, hardtop. Trunk lock is in the center under the flip up middlesection of the Tbird emblem. I do not want to drill the lock as it is expensive for me right now and hard to get.

You are in luck...remove the rear seats, reach through the trunk area with a long, flat blade screwdriver and insert it into the latch assy (should be a circular pin with a square hole) and turn. Trunk will open! Have done this dozens of times on older cars.

backseat,or try a diffrent ford key,ford only changes there keys every so often,my 93 ford aerostar keys will let me in a 93 mercury.
