If you are moderately active, you can count on 15 calories per pound of weight (in your case around 2000) If you, like most people, are not moderately active you should probably have 1800. The best way to figure it out is to weigh yourself about once a week and see if your weight is steady or falling off or gaining. Adjust your calories accordingly

2000 calories is a normal amont for a 14 year old. Do NOT go under 1200 calories if you are dieting. 1000 calories is the threshold and if you live on that as a 14 year old, you will get very sick and malnourished.

It really depends on what you do, if you exercise or if you sit all day. Maybe this little link will help you determine it. I would say generally, you should stay around 1700 for someone your age. Personally I never count calories - only carbohydrates. You can have something low fat, low calories and a lot of sugar - and put on a ton of weight. Cut out soda - that's all.

depends on how often you exercise..... you probably need from 2500-3000 calories a day. personally, i'm 5'5 and 114 lbs and i eat around 3500 calories a day.

you need 2500 any more and then you have to burn that. work out 60 minutes a day that should do oh and drink a lot of water too
i've don't it and lost 35lb whoa!!!
