With the influx of more diverse nationalities in America it is only natural that different ideas of beauty will start to emerge. It is also changing all the time in America as well from the flappers of the 20's to the roundish pin up girls in the 50's. Beauty is objective as everyone has a different idea of what it constitues. Personally as a thicker woman I prefer myself... but hey what do I know.

It seems to be more expected than acceptable. With all this focus fat, thick and round thin and flat just basically get pushed out of the limelight. None the less, thin and flat is always more pleasing to the eye and by far healthier than thick, round, fat etc..

i think being thicker has always been the standard for the average person. its being skinny that is the standard for models, actors/actresses and beauty pageants.
i don't care whether a guys is thick or thin. i prefer if he is medium built but at the same time if i find a guy who is thick that I'm attracted to I'm going to go for it.

that's hyped up and the easy epidermis on Filipinos seem unnatural. Alot of the main in demand Filipinas seem white, and not Asian in any respect. i do no longer understand how Filipinos could be happy with something like that. I keep in mind the stink that got here from Bela Padilla's FHM conceal. i could no longer have been extra happy with Filipinos status up and asserting "not extra!" i think of that is unhappy that I by no ability see any of the close by Aetas getting in demand and given the glam scientific care. Even Wilma Doesnt has a annoying time getting covers and non-stereotypical roles. i'm shocked she made the conceal of playboy.

Thickness was the original standard of beauty in many of America's cultural roots (in Africa and Europe, that is). I'm not sure how thin got into it.

History has taught us that bigger boned women were once popular during those times.
What we didn't know was that bigger boned and thick women were also very unhealthy too.
They didn't have the technology that we have and know today, so that is why.
Of course, who wouldn't prefer a thin women who takes care of herself. It is only natural these days to expect perfection. Although, nobody is perfect.

Thick and thin have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with beauty. There are big beautiful people and petite people who are beautiful. Its each persons preference.......... I know the tabloids have been wrong for years and looking at the anorex's that I have seen lately, they still are...............

It's certainly looking like it's changing for women, if you're watching TV shows with a target audience of 30+. Young girls are getting girlier and smaller though. And young men, sheesh: they're all a bunch of creatine popping meatheads!
