Where does "Lillith" come from? I would like the book, chapter and verse posted if you can please?

Is 34:14 says:Desert creatures will meet with hyenas,
and wild goats will bleat to each other;
there the night creatures will also repose
and find for themselves places of rest.

Thats probably not the proper refference.

The story of Lilith, as best I understand it, is a midrash, a side-story derived from Jewish oral tradition passed down from rabbis. To compare it to a modern, pop-culture reference think of Torah as the Star Wars movies. Star Wars has many, many die-hard fans who want to know more, or experience additional adventures about the movie they so love. So fiction writers (both professional and amateur alike) write novels and short stories about the Star Wars universe, but these stories are not actually a part of the official Star Wars movies. Rabbis (who are die-hard fans of Torah) told stories about the written stories in Torah, but these tales are actually not a part of Torah. You may find scholarly or layperson books that will recount all the stories told about Lilith throughout the history of Jewish oral tradition, but you will not find Lilith or the story involving her specifically mentioned in Torah (Torah is the first five books of the Old Testament for a Christian, but it's better in Hebrew).

It has no biblical basis that I know of. As far as I know, it is a medrashic idea. In that vein, it was not necessarily used literally, but may have just been used as an idea or to convey an idea. Just like I may use the term "devil's advocate", even though I don't really see the devil as a bad angel, but the concept behind it is popular in our culture, so it suits me to use it at times.
