The one you removed should not come back, but you may be more disposed than most people to develop another one. These are benign growths, not something to worry about. If you develop another, just have it removed too. A number of people in my family (thankfully not me) have had these, so there may be some kind of genetic predisposition.

Yes. I had one cut out back in '90, and it came back about 4 years later.

Yes, they do have the potential to return. Mine didn't and it was on my head too....that was 20 years ago...
