Do you gals cut your wigs?

I saw this drop-dead cute gal on the bus with streaked hair, but closer examination suggested a wig, as her part revealed no scalp. However, it had recently bobbed, just below her ears. Looked super cute, but was it real hair? Why trim a wig?

I not only trim wigs but I thin them out also. They do sell shorter wigs ya know.
