Top weight loss tips

Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.

* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.

* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.

* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.

* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.

* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.

* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.

* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.

* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!

* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

Count your calories. On an average, your body uses up 2000 a day. It takes 3500 calories to burn up 1 pound. Theoretically, if you cut 500 calories a day for a week, you can lose 1 lbs.

Cardio exercises such as running, jogging, cycling, or anything that speeds your heart rate is the fastest way to burn fat calories. If you're doing crunches, squats, light weights, or any other anaerobic exercise you will only gain lean tissue. Which is good, since the more muscle you have, the more calories your body will burn to function. So that might be a reason why your body weight is fluctuating. A combination of both light weight, cardio exercise, and a good diet is the optimal way of losing weight.

Also, try chopping up your meals into smaller meals spread throughout the day. This tells your body that food is plentiful and won't store it into fat cells. Doing this should increase your metabolism a bit.

Good luck. ;)

Change your bad little habits to make a big difference. This is your first step. You probably know what I mean.

No more diets though, they do not work. You probably already know that too.

You are at the Perfect age right now, your body will quickly adapt to healthy lifestyle changes...so practice patience and you will see twice the results of people who are older than you.

Write down your goal, and 3 ways you plan to make that goal happen. Do this every week. Not just weight loss goals, but maybe even nutrition goal.

Example "This week, my goal is to cut out all refined foods. So I won't eat anything that comes from a box (cereal, candy, chips)
I will do this by 1.Not buying junk food 2. -------3.--------
and so on and so on.

Every time you reach your goal, you will be closer to attaining the "BIG PICTURE" goal. which is being a size 9 for you.

Do this for your health, not just for your size of jeans. This will enhance your life forever.

Best Wishes

drink lots of water, cut out soda altogether. no drinks with sugar or artificial sweeteners. water, water, water. eat more and smaller meals throughout the day--it keeps your metabolism up. 5 small meals is better than 3 big meals. try to do some activity in the morning to get your metabolism up. don't get bored! when you get bored, you start thinking about food and sometimes you eat just to fill your free time. stay busy with school and friends. exercise every day. it doesn't have to be strenuous, just be active every day. you should take a walk or jog or ride your bike or whatever after dinner. do not eat anything after exercising but drink plenty of water. water will fill your stomach and help with digestion and keeping your metabolism up. find a diet that works for you, something that you will stick to and something that works for you. be patient. you might lose several pounds right away and then your weight loss will slow down or stop. change things to get motivated if you feel you are plateauing. if you keep your body guessing, it can't find a way to keep all that extra weight around. try to find a workout friend if you can. it is easier to stay motivated if you stick together. feel free to ask me anything about this.

I will try to keep it simple. Your metabolism is basically the rate at which your body burns calories to create energy. So the faster your metabolism, the faster you burn calories and the easier it is to lose unwanted weight. To boost your metabolism naturally you just need to eat the right foods.

You can sit down and literally eat a 1,000-calorie dinner and yet be absolutely starving just a few hours later and the reason is simple: Because your body didnt get what it needed in those 1,000 calories so it sends signals to your brain telling you to ingest more calories and thus, the late-night cravings. That means that the surest way to end those late-night cravings and keep your weight loss goals on track is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet that actually gives your body what it needs.

It's VERY EASY to lose weight if you eat the right foods. Check out Dr. Charles Livingston's video here: http://www.sexyjese.com - it will blow your mind.

Perhaps you should consult a doctor. If you are exercising and watching what you eat as you say, then they could probably figure out better than I could what is wrong.

Don't ever stop eating in order to lose weight. Any pounds you may shed will be from muscle loss rather than fat, and the moment you start eating as you should, you'll gain it all back and then some. See, when you stop eating it slows down your metabolism greatly.

I'd advise to cut out artificial sugars (instead opt for natural ones such as those found in fruit), stay away from any carbs with an exception of whole grain ones (whole wheat bread, oatmeal, brown rice), cut out the coffee consumption if you drink that and instead drink plenty of water (eight cups at least), don't smoke (if you do), and when it comes to meat, go for lean chicken and fish (red meat is usually higher in fat and clogs the arteries)

Good luck!

keep doing what you're doing and forget about the scale. exercise and stay true to your diet. eat 1/2 of what you would regularly eat, and work out double what you would normally do. make the comp, games, etc your enemy. stay out doors and get involved with physical activities. be it bike riding, or just walking a mile. always eat breakfast. when you skip a meal you tend to eat double in the next. keep eating the special K in the morning because its a healthy breakfast (what i eat in the mornings). forget about the scale as i mentioned before. and work out the hardest you ever hard, be as true as possible to that diet, pick up sports. and in a month, weight you're self. you'll see such a great improvement that you will motivate your self to keep true to the double work out and nice diet.

I'll place my sources here because its long

going to h.s for the health professions. Had 5 health classes shoved down my throat. i also had weight issues before. i did some of what i mentioned to you (eat 1/2 of what you would normally eat, exercise double), and im down to a size small in shirts. a large, in skirts n jeans lol 9-11 i have a big bum and thick upper legs. (lop sided body i know) really small on top, but large on bottom. its still good !

You may want to check with your doctor to see if you have a medical problem as to why you are gaining weight. If there is no medical condition then just eat properly,exercise, drink lots of water and green tea. I have been losing weight on all those 4. Low fat and no fat foods....i do the exercise bike (I started at 3 Min's and I damn near died and I gradually upped my time and now I do 45 Min's in the morning and 45 Min's in the evening) i drink 8 glasses of water a day (I have a large water jug I fill in the morning and drink it all day) and I drink Lipton Green Tea (Orange, Passion fruit & Jasmine and the other is Mixed Berry). You dont want to lose weight fast. You want to lose it slow so it will stay off you. If you lose it too fast , it comes back on twice as fast....Good Luck!!!

You don't need a diet, you need a change of life style. Learn to eat more vegetables, lots and lots of them. Don't butter them up, just steam and eat. You probably don't drink enough water. Drink 8-10 full glasses per day. Every day. Stay away from white foods, sugar, flour, rice, potatoes, bread, etc.

Start walking everyday. Walk as far as you can. If you walk for an hour a day your whole life will change. You will have more energy, look better, feel better and be healthier. It will increase your metabolism.

I have taken several nutrition classes, one of my closest friends has a degree in nutrition and another is a personal trainer. I've asked both of them what the best diet and exercise regimes are.
Diet- Weight Watcher. It doesn't put your body in shock. It is all about portions and calories. It's a well-rounded, healthy diet.
Exercise- To lose weight quickly, do cardio. Take cardio kickboxing or an arobics class. Anything that gets your heart pumping and your body sweating.
