not in the same way that cigarettes are. the tobacco co. puts chemicals in cigs to make them addicting. while mary jane is all natural, you could probably get addicted to being high cuz it feels real nice, but your not gonna have physical with drawls like you would if you tried to quit. smoking and alcohol both make you physically ill, when you try to quit. when you try to quit weed your just not as dumb and a little more cranky than you would normally be for a couple days and then your cool.

Yes it is addictive. And that is what is so dangerous about it because people don't even look at it as a drug and because it has no physical addiction like nicotine.

Weed makes you lazy and you get addicted to the feeling. If you smoke it too much then you never want to improve your life. Although you may go a while without smoking it you still miss the enjoyment of being high and end up smoking again.

Pot is a mentally addictive drug.

Depends on if you let it be..but chemically no it is not..it has no addictive substances in it...and it's definitely not something you need to have-such as cigarettes...

but then again alcohol doesn't have addictive chemicals in it--its' just the people that tend to get addicted to it...it has to do with their personalities ( there are a lot of addictive personalities out there)

No. It's psychologically addicting. I think that's just as bad. It has other side effects that have more to do with the psyche by association than just a chemical ingestion. To simplify things, people want to feel good. Either something makes them feel bad or they are hedonists. Nothing in between. So, if you have to pay to take something outside yourself to feel good, then, it can't be all that great like anything outside yourself usually is.

I think marijuana is "psychologically addictive", not physically. It saps your ambition and energy if you use it too much. It makes you feel really good, but you don't get anything done.

It's not physically addictive, but it can be psychologically addictive.
