I was dumped a little over a week ago, and I was curious as to how long it takes from getting over a broken heart. I'm still hurting, and I'm afraid that I'll never find someone to love and to love me again. Any tips as to how to help me cope with this?

I can relate, just broke up 3 weeks ago with my ex after 3 1/2 years. It is hard, but does get better. First you go through the why's and what did I do or could I have done, etc.
It gets easier but it takes time. Fill your time with friends and activities to keep you occoupied. It's ok to cry or scream and be depressed for a bit, but then you realize it will all work out.
Just remember someone should only love you for the person you are, not what you can give them

it does take time but I don't have an exact time frame for you. Just go out and have fun, you soon will get over it.
