Our nation would be a much better and happier place.

God doesn't send evil into the world ... and children are blessings from God.

People are basically good, and with God's help, all the problems of the world could be solved without shedding a drop of innocent blood.

We could build more schools. Schools are good.

We could revamp the welfare system so the needs of families would be taken care of, yet abuse would be minimized.

I have teenagers and they don't commit crimes. There must be something else we can do other than kill all the infants.

Yes, the world would be a better place, because it wouldn't have to deal with the guilt and the pain and the terrib;e waste of fifty million unnecessary and innocent deaths.

Abortion stems from a basic lack of faith in God.

OMG! the world would b hecka overpopulated, 2 much poverty, very high crime rates, and more. the world would not b a safe place 2 live. that's y it's better 2 wait on sex till ur married cuz probably by the time ur married, u have someone 2 support u and ur baby and the 2 of u will b ready 2 take care of 1. it's not easy 2 take care of a baby by urself. it makes it alot easier when u have somebody else 2 lend u a hand.

Maybe people would take more responsibility for their actions. And there sure would be alot of happy women who currently can't have children. Perhaps with more babies available for adoption, the cost wouldn't be so high to adopt.
Ok, it wouldn't be that rosy, but I can dream, can't I? A better dream (while we're in fantasy land) would be that someone would find a way to gently and safely remove fetuses from mothers that don't want them, and implant them in mothers who do. Free, while we're at it.
I know it wouldn't be the way I picture it, but whose heart doesn't break at the thought of a life ended before it's had a chance to start?

The best way to reduce population is prosperity and education. Abortion, war, famine, etc only temporarily reduce the population, but usually the population springs back bigger than it was before. In essence we should always strive to use ethical means to overcome our problems.

Edit: Who knows, maybe someone who would have been aborted might be born and become a peacemaker adverting World War III. How's that scenario for a reduction of suffering?

The crime rate will sour as will overcrowding. The strain on the taxpayers through welfare will be immense.
Abortion is ALWAYS going to be around whether you like it or not.

If your concern is over crouding, then people need to stop having out of marriage sex. Most of the people on welfare are unwed mothers with their children.

My old highschool has added a daycare foir unwed mothers. How stupid is that? . Sounds to me like my old highschool has started condoning pre marital sex with that new daycare for unwed mothers, telling them, "Thats ok, you can have a baby, we'll just baby sit it for you while you are in class". STUPID!

Society has allowed their spritual eyes to get adjusted to the darkness of this sinful world. Shame on them. you wouldn't ahve to worry about people killing unborn innocent babies if they would have more self respect and keep their clothes on and find another past time other than sex. It's wrong and they know it,but they's rather listen to what satan tells them to instead of what God tell us to.

People are week and give into the sins of the flesh, and then thinnk they can fix it with an abortion. That's murder! It's a good thing that all those who got abortiions did not have a mother who choose to kill them like they choose to kill their innocent baby.

If they studied the word of God they would be able to resist the temptations of the devil.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

I propose an IQ test and religious test first. I would support anyone no matter if they want to abort or not, but christians and/or zealots would not be allowed to procreate, and would be forced to perform their own abortions! I suggest an IQ test also, w/ anybody scoring less than 110 having no right to procreate. This country would be better off in one generation.

A bunch of kids who aren't ready for a children will lean towards dropping out of school, so they wont make much money, they'll live paycheck to paycheck, their kids will grow up in the ghetto, they'll lean towards crimes, and have sex at a young age, and not get an abortion, and the cycle will continue, and one kid out of 1,000 will succeed in life.

I am for a women's right to choose, but I do not believe that abortions should be used as a form of birth control.

There would be more custody battles, more children who don't know their fathers, more teenage mothers and unhealthy children. More unhappy children who do not get what they need, more men-fearing women, more poor families, more kids that have to live alone because no one wants to adopt them.
