children retain medical and dental bennies until age 21 (23 if a full time student). you would receive nothing once the divorce is final unless your divorce decree stipulates alimony. Child support must also be determined through the divorce.

The military does not owe family members anything. nor will they force the service member to pay anything without a court order.

In order to lay claim to any part of his pension, you must be married at least ten years, all of which he must have been active duty. BUT how much you would be entitled to is dependnat onthe state you divorc ein and what calculations they use. Additionally, if you remarry, you would lose everything or if he doesn't retire, you would get nothing.

Consider the emotional turmoil you are putting the children through, forcing them them to witness a dysfunctional marriage.

Your kids will still be entitled to the medical benefits, and your husband will still receive the money for them. But you are not entitled to anything. And honestly why should you? If your not there supporting your husband, why should you receive his benefits. Your not getting shot at, your not the one worrying about getting shot. If you divorce him he doesn't owe you anything, and the army defiantly doesn't.

As long as you have been married or at least 17 years for a full sponsorship.

They just changed the regs, from the old 10 year rule. If you have proof of infidelities, or mis-treatment, you might be able to get the court to levy in your favor (don't expect much). Try searching one of the services websites for spouse information, or contact your local family support center.

Are you with your husband for the love or the benefits? Who is using who? If things arent working in your marriage give it up but don't expect to have the ride paid for.

Dump him and enlist yourself. That way you will not have to worry about being hooked up to an habitual liar.

Your kids will have benefits if they are his, but you will not. Get a job and earn your own way.
