The age does not really matter. What matters is your maturity level, if you think you are mature enough to make decisions for yourself then you might be ready. Be true to yourself, the choices you make now will affect the rest of your life. Do not rush into anything, just know that you have at least 60 or 70 more years to live. Sort out your priorities and decide what is best for yourself.

I was 16 years old before my parents allowed me to date and I think that is a good age to date with restrictions.

I was 17 years of age...I would say either 16 and 17 would be the best age bc the teenager is able to start making decisions of their own and hopefully learn by the mistakes...

well, i started "dating" before my parents and i talked about it (i was 13) after i got in trouble for that, they told me i could have a real boyfriend (basically, allowed to go on dates w/ just me and him, stuff like that) when i was 16 (which is now). my little sister is 13 now, and she has a "boyfriend" but they just hang out together in groups and email each other. it all depends on your parents and if they think you're mature enough.

my parents let me dat the first time i was asked out which was in 8th grade but they would have let me date sooner but yeah whatever. I think that 13 is a good age cause you are curious and want to go out with people. maybe 14 but that would be my limit cause after that they just do it behind your back and thats pointless!!

i was allowed to start dating @ 15 but my parents would've allowed me to date soonner had I'd been asked out...i think 15 is a good age to start though- girls are less self-conscious and prone to mistakes and guys are a little (not much, but a little) more gentlemanly.best wishes!:)
