I am a bit of a novice, but if dreamweaver is really that much better I am willing to put in the time learning, but I need to know if it is worth it. Please explain why you think one is better than the other.

Dreamweaver is easier for a beginner (dont need to think a lot about writing codes, easy to use visual instructions and icons) and also goes well with experts. Dreamweaver can be used by just about anyone and Frontpage is harder to use and will take more know-hows especially if you want to use advanced features.

Dreamweaver is a much better program in general. Front page generates some horribly messy code and isn't quite as user friendly in my opinion. I use dreamweaver 90% of the time unless I am working with SharePoint sites in which case I pretty much have to use FrontPage due to Microsoft compatibilty stuff.

Dreamweaver is much better. As someone who used to do 100% of their coding by hand, I opted to use dreamweaver for some of those repetitive tasks that I don't like doing anymore. It still has some code that needs cleaning up, but you don't have to screw with front page extensions and it's a better teacher in terms of examining the code.

Dreamweaver and frontpage don't compare!
Dreamweaver is much more advanced by far, very far!
My site (not spamming!) http://www.pimpmyspacelayouts.net can be worked on in Dreamweaver not Frontpage, Fronpage just don't cut it!
Learn a bit of basic html then step up to Dreamweaver, you will be creating fantastic sites in no time!

Frontpage is a piece of crap next to Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is faster once you get the hang of it as well as giving you a better finished product

Dreamweaver is alot better, but however Frontpage is much easier to learn because if you are comfortable with Windows and stuff like Word or Excel it should be a breeze.
