My male rotties never weighed over 120 lbs (German bloodlines)...the weight should be: male: 85-135, female: 80-100 lbs...if your dog is 145 lbs, put him on a diet!...rotties are not meant to carry that weight...causes hip and joint problems!

I hate it when people take a dog of good weight and over feed it because it "looks thin"! Take the Gray Hound...people get them from a rescue org, and put 10 to 15 lbs on them...they are not meant to be that big! (and we make fun of heavy people and say they are unhealthy! I say an over weight dog is unhealthy!)

OK, I'm through ranting! LOL
