Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Literally speaking James talks about watching after orphans and widows in their distress, and keeping yourself undefiled from the world. I think that is an awesome scripture. Prayers =)

aahhhh,thank you,you got me to get into the word.I havent been in here in about two weeks.My grandkids moved in and im so buissy(everyone has their excusses right).
I dont beleive in religion----just following Christ and having a personal relationship with Him.Church is to go and get fed the word,to praise Him with fellow beleivers,fellowship.To gather together with the saints.Beleiving the whole of the bible not just pieces we agree with.Not argueing about the "small stuff"It doesnt matter whos opinion is wrong right or indifferent.If you follow him with all your heart seeking trueth obeying him and having a love relationship with him being saved excepting him as personal savior and comunicating with him.The rest will fall into place.
