Religion: Acts 26:5
Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
Galatians 1:13
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
Galatians 1:14
And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
James 1:26
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
As you can see from the bible, relationship is mumbo jumbo new age babble. No religion, No christian.

did you look up fellowship? religion is having a relationship- fellowship with God. We don't use the word religion because that word which meant something important and was understood for what it was in Biblical times and from the Hebrew context has been tainted in today's culture.
Like many words today - love for instance- you would never have heard someone saying gee ! I just love this hamburger- that word has been weakened and made to nothing nowdays. You won't hear too many people using the word gay to mean happy and joyful anymore.
Rather than look up a specific word useage- you should look up the original Hebrew meanings and context of the words in question.

The original bible is not written in English. There are many translations of the bible. We do not know exactly what some words signify in the transaltions of ancient languages such as aramaic and greek. As such, you do not know that if what you are referring to is remotely true.
Furthermore, what is the point of this question anyway? It makes no sense and does nothing but point toward your literal interpretation of an ancient religious text that has been transalated from a language that does not exist anymore and therefore provide you with NO basis for your statement.
IN TRUE MATTERS OF GOD AND THE SPIRITUAL THIS IS A PETTY QUESTION THAT SIMPLY INFLATES YOUR EGO FOR YOU AND ACHIEVES NOTHING FOR ANYBODY ELSE.

You missed a verse or two:
Rom 8:14 For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear: but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).
Rom 8:16 For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit that we are the sons of God.
Rom 8:17 And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.
When I became an adopted child of the living God through baptism, I certainly entered into a relationship with him, complete with all the rights and responsibilities that go along with it.

i've got not got self belief that's defined, via fact to offer it a definition could make it into some thing, that's the different of no longer something. once I examine the be conscious "nothingness" what I see in my suggestions is this: The hum of the universe fading to quietness--no longer via fact's quiet, yet via fact each little thing interior of ones self is attuned with it (form of like a scent will bypass away rapidly via fact which you get used to it.) Then, out of the stillness, there is nothingness. *shrug*

Just because people a few hundred years ago didn't use that word when they transcribed the Bible doesn't mean that we can't have a relationship with Jesus. You surely know what a relationship is. Why would you think it's not Biblical to have one with our Savior. He's living in our heart. Filling us with His spirit. If you really seek Him you're going to have a relationship with Him.

lets see here you asked why christians call there religion a relatioship? simple really they think by reading the bible and going to church is a wise thing to do when its not and i dont think jesus would like to have a relationship with anyone else besides his true love mary who is his wife and dead years later with him. christians cant get it in there heads that a relationship with god comes from a spiritual connection to the world around them not in a book.
i am a spiritual pantheist and i have a relationship with god the real god.
to those who are fundy christians there is more than one god the bible even speaks of other gods and goddess so why do you think that your god is the same as all the others? there are 1000's of gods out there not one

Why do you say it is not "Biblical"?
I did a research on "Biblical" in the KJV and didn't find anything on the word "biblical". this mumbo jumbo you spew out. It had no mention of "New babble".
You should perhaps get a tutor to help you research.

When you have a relationship with someone it usually means you know them and talk to them. Which is what I have with Jesus. Whatever you want to call it is fine.
