In an article from the Sun, Feb. 6, 2006, Graham Beaton is quoting a Dr. Ephraim Springstein: "Newton’s writings on science and mathematics are well known, but his religious research is less wellknown. His analysis of scripture was every bit as deep and revolutionary as his work creating modern physics and calculus. But it was only within the past MONTH that we understood Newton’s prophecy was not about a distant future date. Using the data in the Books of Daniel and Revelation, he had precisely calculated the year of ARMAGEDDON – AND IT IS DUE TO TAKE PLACE IN 2006!"

Isaac Newton believed that Christ dominates both Old and New Testaments; that all appearances of the LORD in the Old Testament are actually appearances of Christ; that it was Christ who walked in the Garden of Eden; it was Christ who gave Moses the Ten Commandments, who appeared to Abraham as an Angel, who fought with Jacob, and who gave the prophecies to the prophets. http://www.triumphpro.com/2006,_bible_codes,_newton.htm

Writes Beaton in the Sun, "Because his religious research conflicted with the official view of the Catholic Church and the Church of England, Newton ran the risk of being declared a heretic – a grave criminal offense that merited execution in those days. As a result, Springstein explains, he kept his manuscripts hidden and wrote many of his conclusions in SCIENTIFIC OR NUMERICAL CODES."

Note carefully. Newton did NOT predict that Armageddon would be FOUGHT in 2006 – but rather that the PROCESS would begin this very year – 2006! And that from that year, it would not be long till the coming of the Messiah!

Living on the plains of Megiddo in northern Israel may not be the ticket these days.

Agents of darkness would cross over the Euphrates river in Iraq, heading for Israel. Within weeks, the capital cities of the United States, Europe and two Asian nations would be engulfed by plagues and terrorist attacks. Vatican city will be razed by the attackers.

ahi_tuna_ext...I won't second guess the mind of Newton, as to whether or not he meant the Hebrew calendar or the Gregorian calendar. But I will lay odds as to your very existance, would not be, were it not for something that Newton did right; namely develop the Scientific Method. Nay sayers can harp all day about who did what, when and where and who didn't. But I'll put Newton's mind against anyone in the last 300 years hands down. This fellow was miticulous in everthing he did. As I said before, he existed, more than likely so that you could. Let's show a little respect for the giants that went before us.

Yes, but....

Newton did the work you refer to. However, a number of people have interpreted his writings in different ways.

It showed up last year on many of the conspiracy theorists areas.

I wouldn't take a contemporary analysis too seriously. Live every day like you would want to have it been lived, with the idea that you write the book of your own destiny.

Isaac Newton (and Einstein, and virtually every great thinker in history) was wrong about many things, but this is easy - and I'll bet you $20 on it.

For clarity sake, while you say that only "the process" starts in 2006, the work you link to clearly states that 2006 (or 2000) is the year of nuclear holocost. Not the start of a process towards nuclear holocost, but of actual nuclear holocost.

How about a wager - If no nuclear holocaust occurs by the end of September (the end of 2006 on the Hebrew calendar), in just a handful of weeks, you owe me $20, and an admission that this stuff is useless nonsense. If it does occur, I owe you $20, and an admission that you have something worth consideration by reasonable people..

Isaac Newton's Prediction - End of Word 2060

The world will not end in 2060. The world will end after the Millennium. Even if the Millennium began today, the world would go on an additional 1000 years.

There are pros and cons to free speech. One of the unfortunate cons is not so much that anyone can write any horseshit they want, but that there will always be somebody who will believe that horseshit.
