I tried locking my room, but he starts barking loudly. So I ried ignoring him. But he crossed the line, when I laid on the bed and there was a piece of chwed pedigree on my hair. I don't want to give him away. But his feeding problems are stressing me!

Don't give your dog away just because of that!!!
That's very fixable behavior. Feed him in the kitchen or feed him outside, and keep the door to your room closed when he is eating. He might bark at the closed door until he gets the idea, but it won't take long for him to figure out that he can't eat on your bed. Don't allow him to chew bones or toys on your bed either. Also, don't allow him to ever be on your bed. If he spends time on your bed, he might get the idea that it's his bed, and thus bring his food and chew toys there to enjoy. Another idea might be to feed him soft food instead of hard food, so he can't carry it in his mouth.
Hope this helps!

Yeah I can relate, My dog does somewhat the same. She takes her food all the way across the room to my flacatii rugg, and chews up her kibble there. She has a soft felt mat around her bowel, but for some reason she wants to go eat on my rug. I don't know why, and I am frustrated everytime I walk on that rug and get the crumbs in between my toes, or even better trying to vaccume a flacatti rug.... thats a lot of fun. I have tried taking the rug a way and she will not eat. So Yeah sorry I couldn't give you any advice, but your not alone.

he does that because thats where he feels the safest. There must have been some issues with him in the past where some other animal was taking his food. Or it could be from the time he was a pup and couldnt find Moms nipple before siblings did. You have to help him feel safe where it is you want him to eat.

do not give in he is trying to be dominanat by barking at you and if you let him get to you it will juss get worse and make him have no time on the bed always put him down off your bed i did it to my dog and he gave up it juss takes time and patience and you can put a baby gate to keep him in the room with the food
Good Luck
