I need some cash now.. Can I write a check over at walmart and how much? I know the check will clear after payday but thats 2 days from now.

It won't clear after payday. Wal-Mart does electronic funds transfers now which means it comes out automatically.

Walmart has a computer system that might check your balance when it scans the check. You don't want to catch an overdraft charge from the bank either -- I hate those ($25-30.) You can't wait... maybe rough it a little bit?

No! Wal Mart uses TeleChek which will tell them if your account is low or empty. It will reject the check. Don't even try it!
Go to a payday loan service. They'll do it for you.

If you write a check at Wal-mart today, it will hit your account tomorrow. If the funds are not there at the time, your fees will be more than the $20.00 cash back limit at Wal-mart.

Yes you can. It depends on the store that you shop in, as to the limit. I've done it at my local store on a weekend after the banks were closed. They'll also cash a payroll check for you.

There was a day you could do that but now they take it out of your account while you are standing there. They will turn you down or take it out and the bank will charge you $25.00 or more later.
