does she see a spirit?

my daughter is 2, 3 in jan and she is always going on about a mister. the other night i was sat in the living room and she was pointing at the living room door which has glass in saying the mister is looking at me, get him tell him to go away and she looked like she was going to cry she wouldnt sit on the chair near the door and was constantly stairing saying he was watching her, there was another incident when she was in bed she starting screaming saying this mister had smacked her and she was really sobbing about it. i could go on forever but it sends me the chills just wondered if anyone else has had a similiar exsperiance could she really be seeing somthing? ohh and the couple that lived here bfore me the lady died in the house her husband had moved out but died last year and they couldnt have children if this helps. thank you!!

Holy crap!!! That made me all shivery!!! My son did a similar thing, but it was Scary Man. Use to freak me out!! I'm not gonna sleep now!!

There are two ways you can tackle this problem:

THE FIRST

If you believe and are open-minded to the idea that there is another 'dimension' or a further existence that we are not fully capable of understanding, then I suggest you take your daughter's accusations and words seriously.


I for one, do believe in another world beyond this, what I and many call 'The Spirit World'. To go about tackling this problem, I would search both the Internet and also your local phone book (Yellow pages, Thompson local etc) for people who can assist you in this matter - e.g psychics and mediums.


Make sure they have a certificate to show how long they have been working as one for, their experience etc and do not get fobbed off with any old mystic-meg wannabe.

They will help you and your daughter either a. Find out more about this seemingly restless soul or B. eliminate it from your presence and put him at rest. Either way, you and your daughter should be able to sleep easy if that is the action you wish to take.

THE SECOND

However if you are sceptical and do not believe in such things then it may be possible that your daughter is having vivid hallucinations that will appear very, very real to her.

These visions can also felt by the person in question (which may explain her being 'hit') and can also be smelt.

I had a friend who had these hallucinations regularly for years and one she told me about was when she was making her way across the landing to the bathroom, all of a sudden, the entire floor turned into lava and she were on a rickety bridge. Another time, she was in the living room and water began to appear in the room drowning her mother and father in front of her eyes. She began screaming and was taken to the GP where she were diagnosed with having 'hallucinations' and was given the right treatment.

hi Sara
i can only tell you from my own experience as a medium and spiritualist
its very common that children see spirit and usually most children are happy with their " friends "
but this one doesn't typically sound like spirit ... especially when she says about the smacking ... for two reasons .. spirit come with love especially to children and also spirit are not physically here so wouldn't be able to harm her in any way
she may see what we would call a ghost .. but that is only the memory of the house .. the old mans memory perhaps
but this isn't conscious and wouldn't be able to interact with her in any way and will eventually just play out as more energy and memories are put in to the house
now if she has seen this ghost on a few occasions .. it may be that now her imagination has taken over though
OK a cure .... well i call it a cure.. have an open , loud discussion with this man the next tI'me your child says he is there ... play along with it ... and tell him he has to go now to the angels ... and let your child hear you say it , and hopefully she will accept he is going and not coming back

For god's sake DON'T talk to it. If you knew where these things come from, you wouldn't like it. I have lived with these for 25 years. There is a very good reason why these things appear to us. It's far to long to explane here. Get a Bible and start reading it to your daughter and start telling her about Jesus, you know the sort of thing I mean. Be careful, these things are sent to steer us in the wrong path and send us mental some people have even been known to kill themselves. I have been studying the Bible for 25 years and if you knew what it contained you may well change your whole outlook on life. If you believe in God you must believe in the Devil. I've been reading all the reply's I've never heard such a load of crap in my life. Satan was thrown down to earth for a good reason, he now controls it,temporarily, he has followers called Demons, Shortly, God is about to destroy this system and all those wicked in it. The Devil had a bet with God, that he could turn all humankinds heads away from god. So God gave him 6000 years to prove. Now,he knows he can't win so he is going to bring down as many of mankind with him as he can. He will do and say anything to turn your head including listening to those below.PLEASE don't get a priest, the churches are governed by Satan, You will only make it worse. It's hard to say what she's seeing. It could be a spirit but it could also be something in her consciousness that's coming to the surface and she's only thinking she's seeing a man. Remember kids are susceptible to all kinds of things around them! It definitely needs more investigation. Does any weird stuff happen round your house? It might be worth contacting your GP about or maybe a medium - either way you'll get to the root of the problem!

You can bless the house yourself. Get a branch of fresh rosemary and a bowl of water with a pinch of salt in it and a white candle. Go to each room in turn and sprinkle the water in each corner of the room, using the rosemary. Do the hallways and stairs and with each flick say 'In the name of the Lord of Light, bless this house'.
Finish at the front door, open it so the bad vibes can leave and say 'leave this place and go in peace', then shut the door and bless it.
While you're doing it your intention is to clear the house, bear that in mind. It also helps if yo have a couple of friends whose intentions are the same as yours (not p*ss taking!) and one of them carries the candle and the other plays cymbals.

Sounds nutty but it works.

Yes, I think some children can see spirits.My youngest son was always saying he could see a man in his bedroom. At the time we lived in a 400 year old farm house. He saw him until he grew up to age 14 then there were no recurrences. He was never frightened though.
By the way I live alone now in an old cottage, and I have resident old woman ghost who tells me off if use bad language. NO ! it's not my wife. I haven't got one.

Don't know, i doubt it,it could be true.

Felt the chill though, good story.
No such thing as a spirit has been shown to actually exist.I suspect if a big deal is not made out of it,it will eventually go away.
And to be violent at that. I'd say call the police
however they might not like that so much if they
find nothing.
Stay close to your daughter until you figure out
what's going on.

she could well be children have a psychic eye and can see more than most without training i for 1 am a firm believer in psychics as it was one that told me i was having a baby (before i know) then went on to tell me the sex weight and date she would be born and the illnesses she would have at birth all of which were spot on (some of the foresight saved her life!!)

sounds like shes too young to be making it up.it could be your daughter is slightly psychic.the man who died would have to have been a mean man to be so horrible in his spirit body.im not sure getting in someone to cleanse the house is always a good idea.it certainly doesnt sound like a member of your family watching over her either,

there once was this true story about a girl who claimed to see a 'mister' as well, except he was reportably nice, they would play and talk together...then she identified him in a neighbors old picture....the man had died some bloddy death or something lik that....however i would recomend that you belive your daughter, because if you dont you never know if you might regreat it...hope i helped....sorry i cant be of anymore assistance...
