Why does God need a sacrifice for our sins?
==================================
Only a sinless man could atone (make up) for the original sin of Adam and Eve, but due to the "hereditary" nature of original sin, it is impossible for a "normal" man to be born without sin.
The only acceptable sacrifice for sin was Jesus Christ, the only begotten sin of God, made flesh.
Sinless, perfect man. Perfect sacrifice. Perfect atonement for sin.
Jesus' mission was to allow Satan and the forces of evil to unjustly put him to death.
No one had the authority to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the son of God.
When Satan "took the bait" and engineered the death of the innocent Christ at the hands of the Jews and the Romans, he came under God's judgment for his crime.
All that Satan gained from Adam's fall was legally taken from him, and awarded to Jesus, the new Adam, and the sinless and triumphant head of all mankind.
God's supreme justice and dignity was maintained. Satan was dethroned. Mankind was free. Heaven was open. All due to God's plan and Christ's personal sacrifice.
Why did God not eliminate Satan immediately as opposed to exposing us to his sin if it was not his will?
====================================
Satan legally obtained dominion over mankind and all the earth when Adam, who possessed those things, threw in with him.
God, purely for his own reasons, is not in the habit of breaking eternally established rules and policies.
Satan legally obtained what he obtained. Adam paid a price. A deal is a deal.
But God didn't like it, and it wasn't good for mankind.
God pledged to send someone to remedy the problem, and to do it in a just fashion.
If Jesus died for our sins, then why is there a hell?
====================================
Jesus made forgiveness of sins possible.
He didn't take on the punishment for everyone's sins, and he didn't suffer in our place, even though many erroneously teach that.
If either of those were the case, Jesus would be damned to hell for all eternity, there would be no more suffering in the world, no one would need baptism, no one would die anymore, and no one could be sent to hell ever again.
This is certainly not the case.
When mankind was dominated by Satan, sin, and death, true repentance for sin was impossible. Wthout true repentance, forgiveness of sins is impracticle and ineffective ... and a virtual impossibility.
Christ's death eliminated Satan's dominion over mankind, and gave man the freedom, as well as the ability, to truly repent of his sins.
As God was always willing to forgive, and the new head of mankind was the sinless and triumphant Jesus Christ, peace between God and man was at last, possible.
It's still up to each man to go to God, swear allegiance and ask for forgiveness.
If a man fails to do that, or he fails to repent for other serious sins commited later, than Hell is still a distinct possibility.
Jesus is the judge.
I know this seems complicated, and it is, so feel free to email with any other specific questions or follow-ups.

He died for us more likely our sins. That gives us a message. He only died for us because god made him perfect and told him to do what he was told and he did. The devil use to be Gods top angel, but he thought he could be better than God so he changed his name to Satan and made Hell. But adam and eve ate from the tree, and made the world full of sin, and thats why he made a sacrifice so we wouldn't go to Hell, because it was either Jesus or us.

Jesus died for our sins but mankind still possesses free will to make a choice between good and evil so there must be a "hell" for those that choose evil. What exactly is hell is up for debate. Forget fire and brimstone and imps with pitchforks, personally I think it is separation from God along with the knowledge of what was lost. I cannot think of anything that would be more agonizing than that.

Well, the thing is.. God doesn't need any sacrifice and the part about Jesus dying for OUR sins doesn't make any sense so it's probably not true, not everything anyway..
I think making God this figure who makes you feel guilty and do things that don't make any sense is insulting, to God and to people...

In the beginning, after Adam and Eve sinned, imperfection was introduced to human kind. Since Adam brought imperfection to all his descendants, we needed someone who was perfect, as Adam was perfect, to counteract the effects of what Adam had done. Therefore, Jehovah god gave his son Jesus in perfection, so that all couls live. 1Corinthians 15:22 tells us: "For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive."
First of all, we have to understand what happened. When Satan disguised himself as a serpent, he tricked Eve, but he also lied to her. Genesis 3:1-5 tells us: "Now the serpent proved to be the most cautious of all the wild beasts of the field that Jehovah God had made. So it began to say to the woman: “Is it really so that God said YOU must not eat from every tree of the garden?” At this the woman said to the serpent: “Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die. For God knows that in the very day of YOUR eating from it YOUR eyes are bound to be opened and YOU are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and bad.”
Satan lied to her and not only told her that she wouldn't die if she ate from the fruit, but that Jehovah was not a competent enough God. That he didn't know how to be loving, and that humans could govern themselves as well without him.
If God would have eliminated Satan right off the bat, then the question would have remained in the air. Well, is God a good enough ruler? Is he fair? So, Jehovah god didn't destroy him, and has allowed humans to govern themselves without his intervention, until the day comes when he says, "Well, this is enough. I think it's time to destroy Satan, and show humans what REAL life is about."
btw, there is no hell. Since 1John 4:7,8 tells us that "love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born from God and gains the knowledge of God. He that does not love has not come to know God, because God is love", we conclude that Jehovah god is a loving creator. Why would he want to torture his enemies in an eternal fire? The bible also tells us that "the wage that sin pays is death(Romans 6:23)." When we die, we've paid our sins. We need not worry about going to heaven or hell.

because He wanted us to have Free Will..... at HIS expense. think about it; if there was no satan and no hell, we would be His slaves, doing whatever He wanted us to do..essentially robots.
therefore, He gave us that chance to Choose from right and wrong. but as human beings, we are weak, we have faults. the ONLY way we would ever truly be clean and pure, is thru Jesus' blood. it was the Only way. even our minds, who seek knowledge and Know right from wrong, cannot ALWAYS choose the right thing. it is hard, we are too weak, we are too emotional, we are too hard on ourselves, we have too much pride, etc etc..... we must be proud of ourselves and our ability to accomplish Good things. at the same time we must be Thankful for God's sending Jesus down to take care of our debt. a debt we will Never be able to repay On Our Own. it must be Thru Jesus.
and look around you. there are So many people who do not believe Jesus was Messiah, and that He indeed cancelled our debts. so there are people who are willingly Choosing to "be in Hell" (away from God). even tho Jesus DID die for all of us! that is why there is a Hell. and i believe that the bible speaks of horrible things in the future...but that we have the ability to try our best to Change it, before it happens. i hope that makes sense; He sent Jesus to Show us, Open our eyes, that we CAN change. become better. different. Hopeful. Righteous, regardless of past mistakes (read Romans 5-8! :D). i may be a sinner, but thru Jesus I rejoice and am Thankful for what He has done. i am able to continue living as good and righteous as possible, even if i will fall from the path. it's O.K. i can still change myself for tomorrow. and the next day. i can Be Better. :) it has given me so much hope~~

I believe that we just need to pray and recognize how we've done wrong and try to never do it again. In the old testiment there were sacrifices for everything...i guess in modern times its the sacrifice of giving up your free will to do the wrong things. but you are still free to do good things. unless you want to do bad things. Ps... on the note of Hell read Dante Alhigari's Inferno....best book ever. Its a bit hard to understand but it tells why there is hell.

In order to progress eternally from where we were in the spirit world, it was necessary that we come to earth for two main reasons. One is to gain a body, which we will be joined with again when we are resurrected, just as Jesus was. The second is to prove ourselves worthy to live with God again in his kingdom, thereby being able to progress eternally. In order for us to prove our willingness to do God's will, there needs be opposition in all things. God new full well what Satan would do. No one is perfect and therefore, because of the law, no one would ever be able to return to God for all have sinned, except the end of the law be met. Christ submitted himself to fulfill the end of the law. To take upon himself our sins in order for us to be found blameless if we but believe in Him and strive to live according to His teachings and His example. It is not entirely about us as individuals. It is about pure Christ like love for each other. For as many of us as possible to return to live with our Father in heaven and progress as an eternal family. Mostly, hell is going to be the eternal, unquenchable fire that burns within those who don't live worthy of going back into the presents of God, knowing where they could be and knowing where they are.

Excuse me...you'll need to check half your neurons before entering the church.
That's right, you're only allowed to take the non-critical thinking brain cells. Don't worry; it will be painless.
Oh, just those few will be fine. You may keep those that allow you to listen without questioning.
Now that you've let me store your un-needed brain capacity, please proceed and be certain to enjoy the service. Listen there for further instructions. Then, and only then, will you know what to do.
What do you mean how can you get your neuron's back? Well, if you insist, you may have them, but reinstalling them may be painful. You'll have to squeeze them back in, and it will shove out most of the church doctrine you've let us install.
Really! Now that you've got those brain cells back, I have no idea what you're talking about. But I'll pray for you.

Start here. You will find this interesting. Did you know that people lived to be 6-9 HUNDRED years of age? Me neither, but this is fact. It is because there was more oxegen in the air back then, following the first great flood. People were highly intelligent. Write down this web address for future reference. It is interesting. It just may answer your question. http://www.vinesbranch.com/view/?pageID=9389
