The Arndale is a shopping centre. Is that all the best the local council could come up with. Actually they may have a point.
Okay, so technically it's true, but to have to admit that thats the best Luton can offer..........

Count youself lucky Bongo, I visit the football ground there every two weeks.
I want to die.
Really.

In Bedfordshire, we have the legend "Welcome to Bedfordshire, central to the Oxford-Cambridge arc.
Now if someone could please explain this, because all this means to me is:
"Welcome to Bedfordshire, between two nice places, and we're hoping it will rub off. Please ignore all the landfill sites and vagrants.
We used to be "A Progressive County"
We weren't.

There's the "Drive on the Left" signs at Dover. That sets their expectations for the rest of the country.
