Especially after having a baby, a nursing mother finds her breasts more as a form of function rather than fun. The bonding between baby and mother is very strong especially for a baby who is nursing as it is a physical form of demonstrating nurturing and nourishment. Yes, it is SO easy to become so consumed with being mommy and yet so easy to forget how a mommy became a mommy. Give your gal a chance to get some rest, reassurance, and definitely reminders of how beautiful and sexy she is. She'll eventually come around (no pun intended)!

Probably because the baby needs the milk alot more than you do!! And perhaps because when nursing the breasts can become irritated and it doesn't exactly feel good to have a grown man sucking on them.
