Hmmm..Thats quite a situation...
Bullies can be problems in that age groups..once they are in college they see big fishes and run like hell:)
Anyway, well, hangout in form of groups..that can be a good way to avoid bullies, most bullies are empty from inside (basically weak)and have no idea or regard what they are causing the other person..
Don't let them make your life hell!
I'll give you a tip, there are people, who are sincere and are not scared of bullies, usually they don't show themselves, you have to look for them, once they are your friends they really give a damn about bullies and bullies themselves would fear you..
But these people are like bits of sand in water and difficult to locate, very rare such a breed of people would be located..
Sometimes they are the less(not unpopular)"Outcasts",who are not really outcasts..their grades can be average to good..
ummm
what else..they don't bully people but are physically fine(not the empty strong builts only though)
They are the "honourable"dimensional people, with aristocratic ways, kind of gentlemen or ladies who know and follow some good old norms..i hope you know what i mean..such people can avoid getting bullied in situations, especially when in a group and have tendency to protect friends...
Though my advice is use your own head and be strong..and sometimes its ok to complain to teacher..
"meet the enemy at the gates an the victory shell be ours"

And ofcourse be confident and use your own head and a litle advice from parents is not bad either!!!

I was bullied all the time because I was the "smart girl". That stopped when I fought back and broke the arm of a boy a year older than me. They never bothered me again.

Sometimes in life you are going to have to stand up for yourself.

Just make sure its a fair fight - try to make sure you have some friends around to help you if the bully's friends gang up on you. Keep in mind too, if you get caught fighting, you'll probably get in trouble as much as the bully - so be prepared to face the consequences. But if it gets them to leave you alone - it's worth it sometimes.

Good luck. I can tell you that things will get easier eventually.

Your theory is correct. A true batsman (Tendulkar, Lara, Sangakarra, Jayawardene, Sehwag, Kallis etc) should be able to play on both SPINNING and SEAMING pitches. Ricky Ponting's average in India is absolutely terrible. The only team who aren't flat track bullies (out side of sub continent) are South Africa because they have good results in subcontinent.

Tell your parents. Tell another teacher, one you like and trust. They do want to stamp bullying out. Honest. I speak as a teacher who was bullied at school.
Keep a diary of incidents and always always tell someone. Bullies rely on your silence to maintain their hold over the bullied.

Also try ChildLine as they can help you too and you will be able to talk to someone who can give you practical advice. I have posted another source for you to check out.

Be strong. Work hard at your exams. Good luck.

I was bullied at school by lots pf people and more so by one particular girl, remember her beating me up in the toilets at school, I was lucky had a great teacher, he got the girl in our classroom and told her off in front of everyone, I remembered he had a metre stick in his had and slammed it down on the table... it made everyone jump and her cry.... My dad went around to her house and threatened all sorts, my face was a mess.... after that she never touched me again!

If the teacher you told will not listen go to another teacher... Is there one of your parents friends that you can confide in? You really need to have these bullies dealt with for once and for all.... Unfortunately kids are mean!

There should be other members of staff around that should be able to help you. Is there anyone that you can confide in? It sounds as if this 'teacher' is betraying his responsibility to you.

Talk to your friends as well - bullying is quite common. Parents will usually not overreact - they will be supportive. I was bullied throughout school but am still here and am now working in various primary schools. It can be done. Believe in yourself.

It seems that I have heard that the public schools have programs available to help students who are being bullied. I would talk to my school counselor and my parents about this now before it gets out of hand. If no program is available in your school, maybe you could help set one up for other students too. Wishing you a safe and a great school year.

Stand up for yourself, dude! If you don't think you can fight them, do so anyways. 1) it'll show them that you're not afraid to back down, which is what bullies are afraid of; and 2) it'll let that moron teacher of yours know that this is a serious problem and should not be ignored for fear of losing his job. Good luck!

i had a problem with bullies at school, it made my life unbearable,
so i joined my local boxing club. At my first fight one of them was there, i won the fight and they never bothered me again. If your not into boxing maybe you could try some other form of self defence like judo or karate, they're all cowards deep down, things will get better, good luck.

Hang out with some friends, maybe older than you to keep them away.
Failing that do what I did when I was at school I had enough 1 day and just turned round and kicked the **** out of 1 of them proper smashed his face up all his mates just stood there and watched laughing at HIM. They left me alone after that.
