Unless I grow it myself, then I do not trust that it is "organic" Why should I pay more for something I have no control over anyhow?

Most "organic" fruits and veggies (as well as non-organics) are picked in the field by people with poor healthcare, no access to handwashing and with no health checks. Yet these people are handling and possibly sneezing on, my food.

I want that food washed in a disinfectant not delivered to my kitchen with hep C, typhoid, TB and lord know what else!

Wash everything well!

organic means different things to different people.....the definition stands "without pesticides or inorganic induced material to grow food."....by this, i can put a dead fish in the tomato roots.....in all, the major food corporations have and are developing organic brands for the higher prices organic food gets....but do you trust the labels?...they can apply an bacterium to tomatoes that kill worms and it is still labeled as organic.....

I grow most of my own, and I don't eat meat. So essentially, I'm eating organic food, just not buying it.

I just go to the store and buy food, if I have tried it and it is good, then I buy it, if I have tried it and it is not good, then I don't buy it.
