There is no question that reincarnation is a reality, we, as individual spirit souls are reincarnating within these very bodies, the material body is composed of gross molecules and atomic particles, that are constantly changing, every seven years each cell is completely replaced, so the body we had seven years ago is different to the body we have now, this is reincarnation, even within this life.
At the end of this life when the gross material body is no longer operational, being simply a temporary biological machine, then the subtle material mind replays the events of one's life, those events in one's life that are most prominant propel the spirit soul, the real self, to the next destination, the basis for this to happen is by the activities that we perform and the desires that are most prominant, man proposes and God disposes.
If we live a spiritual life, with activities and desires to please the Supreme, then the original spiritual body is revived and we can return home, back to Godhead, however if the desires are more worldly then we will attain another material body perfectly suited to the mentality that we have developed whilst being in the human form of life, therefore the knowledge of the science of reincarnation is of paramount importance to understand.
The early Christian church also taught reincarnation, up untill the 6th century A.D., in 553 A D when the Roman empire started to collapse, the emperor Justinian at the 5th Ecumenical council at Constantinople removed and altered the teachings of Jesus to gain more social control over the uneducated masses, by establishing the "scare tactic" of a singular life, as anyone who opposed these types of alterations was considered a heretic, it is not difficult to understand how these gross misconceptions came to be accepted.
Fortunately we are now able to discuss real knowledge openly, without fear of an inquisition, aside from a shrinking group of "text book" fundamentalists, the science of reincarnation is being accepted unopposed by many intelligent people.

Yes definitely! If we think about the kid we used to be at 10 years, where has he gone? Has he existed? We knew that he did. Similarly one can know that after death of this body the consciousness will "reincarnate" into another life form, just as the kid has "reincarnated" into the present older man he is. Literally, we are born and die every moment, being "reincarnated" from thought-consciousness to thought-consciousness without end. Experiencing live the way we know it is really just a sensing of the present moment and nothing more than that. Each moment rises and pass out follow by the next moment. There is no independent own being in these thought-moments.
Take care.

I am NOT religious but I do believe in reincarnation. You do not, however, necessarily have to be reincarnated into another human being. I believe that after death there is life, in any form possible ... from angels to insects depending on how you've treated other persons & objects with feelings/life (animals, insects etc.). So treat others the way you would want to be treated. You may reincarnate to be someone with out the senses of sight & hearing because you make fun or have treated the blind or death wrong purposely.

If you are able to meet HH Dalai Lama he would be good to ask this question. I was a Tibetan nun and then Lama and now am a Christian so I have mixed answers on this. I do know I have met folks who seem just "toooo" familiar and we hit it off immediately and seemed to know one another and often pets seem like very old friends as well.
Christians believe in Incarnation with respect to Christ. It is different.
So I am in between answers on this and must give it a yes, no and a maybe.
I have dreamed of past lives of myself as a Street dancer in Nepal or Tibet or somewhere wonderful. I also dreamed of Sarasvasti when I was 4 years old. She was in color and with sound and sitting on a lotus flower with swans all around her. When I was 32 I saw the picture I dreamed of so.............perhaps. There are many wonderful events and happenings in this life and if we tap into the spiritual and creative nature anything is possible.
The Tibetan Book of the Dead (older version) is a good book to study if you are truly interested. There are a lot of versions: I own around 11 of them altoghether. They say dreaming is a lot like waking : some distorted memory? I think not, each breath is living and dying so there must be at least incarnation eh?

Reincarnation is not in the Bible.
The apostle Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
The Bible also says that is appointed once for a man to live and then the judgement.
We don't keep going arounad on a merry-go-round each time we die since that would violate Holy Scripture.

Absolutely, to be able to undo all the bad stuff we have ever done,I don't believe Jesus died for our sins, but he taught us how to live, like him. I think Christianity has made it to easy to say just take Jesus Christ in your heart as your Lord and Savior, and don't worry so much about the rest.
I believe we must undo what we have done, even the bible speaks about reincarnation. It has been the easiest way for me to live the best life possible.
PS Also had an experience with me own possible past life, very real stuff

the full reincarnation thought is only fairly difficult to have self belief via fact greater all people is being born each and all of the time and the international's inhabitants is becoming. yet while souls only die and are available returned, the place are each and all of the greater souls coming from? New ones? And are no souls being enlightened and going to Nirvana? It only would not make experience. It additionally ignores what's mandatory to people, what makes them who they're. case in point, in case you're saying, "Bob is in the different room, and he has lost 5 kilos," people could say, "stable for him." What in case you reported, "Bob is in the different room and wager what? he's a grasshopper." maximum persons could say, "which could no longer be Bob, via fact if there is one element i understand approximately him, it fairly is that he's human. he's no longer a grasshopper." properly, reincarnation says that i could come back as a grasshopper. yet while that's actual, i does no longer be Bob anymore. i could be a grasshopper. My humanness is an substantial component of who i'm. yet another reason i've got not got self belief in reincarnation is that the evidence for it, issues like suggestions of previous lives, could be defined by ability of alternative ability: psychological motives, or fortunate guesses, or perhaps demonic impression. finally, what in case you grow to be a slimy snail? How do you retrieve a human variety? by ability of being a stable snail?

I believe we may be given that option, to come back. We are here to experience life for God and as a part of God. I believe some of my fears and conflicts may be a link to another time. I have practiced meditation for a short time, it seems to help in "seeing" what is there, what was, what is to become. I believe in reincarnation 'cause the typical religious beliefs would have me burned in Hell..while my thoughts are of an UNCONDITIONALLY loving Father.

Christians reject reincarnation for two main reasons. The first is because the Bible does not teach it, and in fact makes it clear that when we die we don't return to earth again but enter eternity—either with God in heaven or apart from God forever. The Bible says, "Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).
The second reason Christians reject reincarnation is because Christ has paid the full penalty for our sins—totally and completely. He did this by His death on the cross for us. You say you hope to become perfect some day in another life—but Jesus has already made us perfect in God's eyes, by taking away all our sins! The Bible says, "But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 6:11).
Think of it: Every sin you have ever committed can be completely cleansed, if you will turn to Christ in repentance and faith! Don't be deceived by a false hope, but put your faith and hope in Christ today.
