How could you break your Mothers heart by leaving without saying goodbye? She will worry herself sick about you! The least you can do is say Goodbye. If you call yourself growing up now, then be a man and not a child. The least you can do is have a talk with Mom telling her that you are grwoing up and you need some space now--and telling her how to get in touch with you in case of emergencies--after all, what if your Dad has heart attack and dies & you miss the funeral? Leave an emergency number and ask her to only call for an Emergency. Tell her you love and that you'll be back soon. Dont break Mom's heart.
Keep in mind, one day you will be a parent, and your kids will probably treat you the same way you treat your parents right now.
Have that Talk with Mom --Peace

Ya it is wrong to leave home with out telling your parents, because if anything happens to you they would be devastated and at the same time they will be clueless about your ware about and on top of that you will cause yourself and you parents and family members pain.

Your mother surely deserves the respect to tell her.....you want to move out. Not sure about the get lost bit....sounds a bit selfish to me. But can you imagine the torture you would put people through if you just walk out and not say to where or for how long. No one deserves that.

Think about the pain you will put your parents thru, get lost on the weekends and find your way home on sunday. Talk to your parents or SOMEONE and tell them whats going on, what ever your RUNNING from will EVENTUALLY catch up with you.....

I think that is a WONDERFUL idea - get LOST! Besides you can't leave home without your American Express Card.

why would u wana leave home people do feel like that sometimes when they wana just run away from their problem if u need soem time on ur own tell ur parents and then leave just tell them i need to be alone .

first of all..are you sure you wanna leave home? why? did you think about the future? if you are a "down to earth" person it`s ok...but u have to tell you`re parents. If you`re old and responsable enough to make your own decisions they can`t stop you..so..yeah..you have to tell them...

I did it, and I now realize how much it hurt my mother. Just let her know your leaving, a day or two before, that way.. it will be too late to stop you, and it wont hurt you family!
