i am friends with every one all the way from the populars to the dorks and everyone is my friend because they all think i am nice and me an my boyfrien have been together for a couple of weeks and he is popular and he told me i need to stop hanging around with the dorks. and whenever he says that i just change the subjectbecause i don't know what to say what shoud i do because i like him alot but i don't want to be mean so what should i do.

Yes you should leave him. That is so shallow of him to say that you should stop hanging with the dorks. He's just concerned with his own reputation and the way he looks towards others. He's scared that if people see you hanging with "dorks" that it will make him look bad.

never let anyone tell you who you can and cant be friends with. unless your hurting yourself or others in some way for being friends with dorks, then you should be friends with them no matter what your boyfriend says. Tell him how you feel by making sure you let him know how much you like him and how you still appreciate your other friends.

your bf should not control who you are friends with... Men come and go but friends are forever... You should never drop a friend because your man can;t handle who you are friends with...Does he have a friend that you don't like.. Turn the tables on him.. Ask him to leave his popular buddies alone and see what he says.. you be strong and stand firm on how you feel.. a Man will only do what you allow him to... IF you really care for these people then you will make it known what they are here for and why they are your friends.

tell him that god says to like everyone and says that they are ure friends too cause they help you with stuff.
and let him know that you will be friends with the dorks no matter what. And if he get realy mad then u shouldnt be with him cause he doesnt really respect your decision.

You should talk it over with him and tell him that his attitude towards your friend has led you to think you should break up with him. Tell him that you like him alot - but this is really bothering you and you don't know if you can continue seeing him if he is going to be like this. If he does not at least explain himself I think you need to tell him you are very concerned about things.

He clearly doesnt respect the fact that you are friends with the people of 'lower-poularity' and i think its really good that ur friends with them. Dont u dare change for him tho and quit talking to the geeks, dont change yourself for ANYONE. But if u find it realy uncomfortable u shud talk to him about it, and if he still doesnt respect your decision then personally, i dont think hes worth it. Tell him he has to accept you for who you are not what you like.
If he cannot accept that then he obviously doesn't love you enough. His image is more important that YOU.

No, please don't change yourself for him! You sound like a kid with a terrific personality, why do you want to lower yourself to his level? Keep being yourself and eventually you will find someone who's good enough. Changing yourself for a boy is never, never worth it!!
