does anyone know where i can download Microsoft Word?

Word is part of MS Office. Microsoft currently has a trial version of office 2007 available for download. But I believe it is only good for 30 days. After that, you have to buy the program. Not available for free.

select downloads... they have demo versions that are fully functional.
