That is a very romantic and thoughtful gift. Also, it's very expensive.
It's not silly because it's more valuable then something materialistic and most guys wouldn't think of such a romantic thing to do. If this is your man doing this for you, I hope you stay with him because he seems to know what he is doing.

It would be a wonderful surprise. However, no one can name a star for you. The stars are named and numbered by an international group of astronomers. Rip-off companies try to sell the right to name stars to the ignorant public. It is a complete waste of money, since no star will be registered in that name.

My husband did this for our 3 aniversery and i ws so pissed he wasted the money on a stupid piece of paper that didnt even have my name spelled right. i hold grudges so i made him suffer for a year. when you have been married as long as i have you expect certin things. I suggest flowers, and a nice dinner and a ingraved watch for the first year of marriage. so she can rember when she first married you everytime she looks at it.

i'd love it. maybe. maybe a little later in the relationship. to make sure u know if ure goin anywhere! it suck to break up and then remember him by a star he named after you! the relationshp has 2 b serious
