i'm really trying to support my sister and step-sister. They've been dating each other for a while and I was okay with that. I mean, they're both mature 17 year olds. its not my business if they prefer women. but now they are ready to have sex. should i be against this.

That's not a good situation. I was in a step family and its not good to blur the lines like that. Its better to learn self control in a situation like that. The fact is everyone has got a heart big enough to love anyone or anything. We loss sight of this just because of what we feel now not realizing what we might feel about this later. Best thing to do is make sure they know that this is no young game their playing with passions here and if there not going to play this game thru to the end they might want to back-off and respect that their stuck in each others life whether their in a relationship or not.

You actually cannot stop them from having sex with each other, so you're worried about the wrong thing.
