Gold or red paint is a pain in the #@%* to paint and get rid of. It is also very hard to relax in a red room, as it stimulates the brain. You can put fabric on one wall...I use linen sometimes that way you can change it when ever you want. I once bought goldleaf from a craft store and applied it to one wall and it looked fantastic. For lighting you can buy some hanging light kits and buy chinese umbrellas and cut the stems and attach 3 of them together with a wire to the kit. Over the wire, add sone silk fabric like a sash and tie it into a knot. You can get many home decorating items for good prices at asianideas.com. The gentlemen that answers the phoen if you call is also very helpful.
You can go to a store that sells unpainted furniture and paint if a deep oriental red but paint the underside that can be seen black.
If you live near a Marshalls or TJ Maxx, always look there for asian things...I've even found bamboo mats there on clearence you can make your own folding wall with. Just glue them to 3 wood doors you attach together with hinges. If you sew, but those large square pillows (22x22) and make floor pillows. Its cheaper if you but sheets ( I like the sateen ones) and just put tassels at each corner. I found some beautiful ones at Bombay. If you go to theire website, look in clearance or their outlet for some good prices. Good Luck. This can be so much fun, you'll end up doing the whole house in it.

The 4th of July decorations will bypass on clearance everywhere precise after the 4th i might want to attend to purchase any decorations till then. per chance attempt an all american subject use a great number of pink white and blue have a picnic style motif and menu it keeps the fee of nutrition all the way down to make a large batch of potato salad and per chance some fried hen with baked beans and coleslaw lemonade and watermelon you would possibly want to even throw in some PB&J sandwiches to make it baby pleasant. in case you employ kinfolk to help make those user-friendly picinic meals it is going to save the fee way down. Use vases of end result rather of vegetation. a tall vase of lemons tied with a military ribbon a "fish" bowl of blue berries tied with a pink ribbon a diverse shaped sparkling field with the strawberries tied with a yellow ribbon and stick the little american flags in the middle of each so it stands proud the right. you may also get some pretend grape leaves or ivy and cord it around the bases and drape it through the table. yet another theory get pink white and blue cupcakes(at your walmart once you've a supercenter) and positioned a cake stand at each and each table with the cupcakes then serve a small stylish wedding ceremony cake. That way you get the perfect cake you want yet save it small for fee and serve the cupcakes. this seems after the centerpieces and keeps the fee of the cake way down. They even positioned little american flags in each and each cupcake. you should use a pink and white checkered table textile then cover it in the option direction with a white textile then on the subsequent table positioned the pink and white table textile with a military in the option direction. Simplicity on your decorations is uncomplicated strategies to save funds. regularly if carried out in the right way a lot less is more desirable!

O-o-o-o-oh that would be so gorgeous. I love anything oriental. I would go for reds and golds - maybe three gold walls and one red feature wall with gold characters [chinese writing], if you're feeling bold. Then add an oriental screen with dark brown woodwork - furniture to coordinate, also accessories.

chinese furniture and remember to place them agains the wall of the room. Perhaps two chairs on each side of the room. place a table in the middle for tea. I guess you could also put a rug in the middle of the room.
