yes. that is the main ingredient in hair dye. although you would have to keep applying everyday for like a week. but if you are dark....it goes orangy

it will lighten your hair but causes alot of hair damage, looks dry like straw - ever heard of peroxide blonde??

It won't dye your hair. It will strip it of its colour. Not a good idea.
