Some things you do in high school will carry into your future. Like if you get pregnant . . . that can affect your whole future. Other things, like getting good grades and being involved in school activities can affect what scholarships you get and what colleges you go to . . .
Being popular or not . . . does not mean anything when you get out of high school . . . in fact, the popular kids sometimes have the most trouble adjusting to the "real world" because they are so used to everything being easy and everyone automatically liking them.
Giving up your virginity too easily can be regrettable too, you may one day wish you still had it to give to "the one".
It is amazing, how you see things in high school is seldom how they really were. I did not think of myself as "popular" . . . but when I went to my reunion, I discovered that I had been well known and well liked, even by the "popluar" kids . . . go figure!!
Look to the future, enjoy the present, learn from the past!

Well normal high school matters don't effect you at all really. I mean yea its all fun when you are in school but you grow up and mature beyond that stuff unless you are one of those ppl are stuck in the glory days of your past. And high school relationships definitely don't effect your future unless you make the mistake of getting pregnant and then marry the guy. But I figure since so many change throughout their life time then, just casually date, make friends, focus on school stuff, and take your experiences with you as good and fond memories. And don't be too much into the sex scene no matter who pressures you because in the end you would be called the whore if you got pregnant and the guy ususally doesn't care.

High school relationships are good practice runs, I look back on my highschool love with very find memories. We still remain very good friends and I am glad that he is the one that I was with in high school. Looking back though, I realize how different I act in my relationship now, and how juvenile my high school relationship was.
Being voted homecoming queen and all of that really does not matter- being school president however will look good for college. Socially though, no that stuff doesn't matter (at least where I am)

Have fun and stick to school work. It sooo doesn't matter when you get older. If you had a good relationship then it can carry on into adulthood easily but if you had a bad one it will only mean something if you let.

Popularity and all the little awards that go with that are completely overrated. They mean nothing in the real world after graduation. In fact, many of the "beautiful" people are too embarrassed to attend the high school reunions because their success in high school society didn't translate into success in the real world. So yeah, just worry about doing well and getting good grades, because that's all that you really take with you from high school.

All your experiences afect your future. Your experiences affect how you think and react to things. This would include your past relationships; whether you conciously remember them or not.
