I am always hungry. I can eat a meal and i feel full and then half an hour later i feel hungry again. when im home i always go to the fridge and get something. it is very annoying.

i cant even go on any kind of a diet, i eat healthy most of the time and i try to eat only at certain times a day and nothing in betweeen but its jsut too hard. i go and get some snack and i feel like i need it and its wont make a difference and when im done i feel bad and like i didnt eally need to have that snack to begin with. im not fat and everyone tells me taht i shouldnt loose any weight but i jsut wanna get rid of a few pounds because i felt better and im more energetc when my weight was lower.

PLs tell me why im always hungry and what should i do to not be hungry? and if u have any good sggestions for diets and weight loss u can include that too

The low carb craze was a bad idea. Carbs (good ones) help you feel full. Things like whole grain products, oatmeal, nuts, high fiber fruits and certain veggies fill you up and help you stay full for a few hours. Try eating raw almonds and a piece of fruit like apples or about 20 grapes when you feel hungry. You should be eating about 5 times a day about 3 hours apart. Breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner. Eat more carbs...just not the bad kind (sweets, white bread)...and you will feel full longer.

Also- it's true that people often mistake hunger for thirst. Drink lots of water. It may be hard in the beginning, but the more you do it, the more you want to do it.

Well some people are born like that. I know people that have the same thing. It is something in body that makes that happen. You could also have a very fast metabolism like me. You never have the feeling of being full. I am 14 and i eat a box of super fattening cookies and half a tub of ice cream as a snack. I am NOT fat i am 6 ft and 135lbs. I eat like crazy too. Going to the gym will make you more hungry because your burning off more calories so you need to add more to your daily amount. JUST EAT VERY SLOWLY you fell more full that way. speed eating can cause you to eat alto without really felling it.

You seem to be gratifying yourself with food. You may need some expert advice on what to eat, when, and why. You can go to ww.drphil.com and seek some really good advice there. You shouldn't have to go on a diet, just change a few little things. I bet that a lot of times when you think you're hungry, you need something other than food.

Try eating high fibre foods to make you feel full longer. A lot of it is probably mind over matter as well. Schedule 6 small meals a day, filled with vegetables and fruit and follow that schedule. Also try drinking more water - many people mistake hunger with thirst.

kittycat just be quiet get a life watch tv do something dont give dumb answers though you pro. smoke but yeah iam always hungry but i like it also iam very muscular also i eat a whole bag of saltine crackers easily 3 if i wanted too 5 if i really wanted too and so on i could eat 10

I REALLY don't understand why you want to loose weight... my mother wanted to loose weight too, and she did, but she is the same person... if you're thin, the same people will like you, and the same people will hate you... do you want people to like you just because you're thin? and about food... if you're hungry after an half an hour, go there and eat smt... it's not you're fault if you're too fat or too thin... that's you, and you should be proud of yourself

Do you eat a lot to be full ? Or small meals and it will be full.

If you have small frame and small stomach, i think it is ok. But you eat a lot to be full and then you will be hungry soon. Then it may be a problem.


The only suggestion I have is to eat not to the full all the time, drink plenty of water to make your stomach to feel full. Then gradually reduce the amount you eat.

Carry a little bag of saltine crackers around. It wil stop you from feeling uncomforatble and your stomach won't be yelling to everyone. The same thing happend to me alst year. It was so embarrasing! My stomach was like a dying cat and people started laughing. They asked me if i ate. And I did! 2 hours ago! I'm also super skinny and I eat till I'm full but I get hungry again. So my teacher told me to carry crackers around and it helped.
