This will be really easy. You can describe things that you personally did over the summer. Or if you are actually describing summer try.....Playing volleyball at the beach. Watching the sun rise and set. Gathering seashells. Cooling off under a giant shade tree at the park. Eating your favorite ice cream. Taking swimming lessons at the YMCA. Wearing T-shirts and shorts every day of the week, lounging around the pool. Learning to Ice Skate to stay cool. Hope these ideas helped.

The thing to remember in writing has been applied to the parts of a hamburger:
bun
meat
bun

So--"Say what you want to say" (Introduction)
Then Say it (Body)
Then say what you just said (Conclusion)

This is classic essay writing. Look at some short stories in an old Readers Digest. The more clever you can be about disguising things the better:
Don't say: "Here is my introduction," but say, "This was the best summer I've ever had because of....."

You could write about what you did, or what your memories of summer are from childhood; you could describe the smells or sounds of summer, etc.

Generally, list three things in your introduction, then use three paragraphs (or more) to explain each item. Do not
talk about anything extra in your paragraphs. Stick to the topic sentence in the introduction. (For instance, "one winter I took a trip to Mexico" has nothing to do with this composition, unless it directly relates to this summer.)

For closing, never say, "Now I am closing!" but rather
something like, "I can hardly wait until next summer..."

I'll bet you can think of something interesting! I love summer!
