I'm an atheist. My early years were spent attending a religious school and listening to people tell me how I would go to hell if I didn't conform to accepted beliefs or if I questioned those accepted beliefs. I was told to give money every week to support the religion and the more money I gave, the happier god would be.
My religion changed my life because it taught me you don't have to believe in any religion or any particular god to be a good person. My religion changed my life because once I left the religion it felt like a heavy weight was removed from my life. My religion changed my life because I became more accepting of others who didn't share my beliefs.
Hope this answers your question.

Jesus changed my life, the day He saved my soul. He changed my life. I no longer have the desire for the sinful things, i once did. I want to tell others about Him, and how to be saved. I now love reading my Bible, going to church, and praying. I seek God for the will of my life, and I put my faith and Trust in Him. salvation, through the Blood of Jesus is what takes you to Heaven. Not religion.

Yes, In lots of ways. My most favorite thing about my religion is that I get to wear a lot and a lot of pretty clothes. I also like what we do. Like our gods and our temples. The temples are so beautiful! I don't like to pray very much but, I do it as often as I can.

There is not enough time or space to tell you. Religion really didn't change my life. Coming to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior did . I was an unfaithful husband and a porno addict. Jesus changed all that. Praise God. Thanks for allowing me to share this.

I was fired once due to the hatred and discrimination from a pulpit pounding boss who made it a point to tell me every day that I was going to hell.

It has caused a deep mistrust within my soul of anyone who blindly follows words in a book.
