I recently told this guy that I like him and now I'm afraid to talk to him. I know it seems really stupid but he thinks that I dont know that he knows because he pretended not to hear me. So he does know and now I dont know how I could talk to him or invite him to the movies or anything like that.

Calm down and breathe.
Let him make the next move. He knows that you are into him, so if he likes you, he will ask you out. If he isn't really into you, then he won't ask you out, but you won't look desperate.

If you've already told him that you like him, he certainly knows what he needs to know. So now it's his turn to ask you out. Unless you have decided to act on behalf of both of you (=you make all the moves for both parties, and in the end you have a true relationship with yourself)
Though don't be afraid to talk to him. You had had enough courage to reveal your feelings, don't be so hard on yourself.

keep talking to him suck in in show some balls and be yourself its not cool when a guy sees your scared and timid it makes you seem weak and fragile just talk to him like normal..keep inviting him places if he doesnt want none of that then move on remember u win some you lose some but dont get discouraged

If he pretended not to hear you, perhaps it's because he doesn't reciprocate your feelings. If you admitted how you felt, and he's done nothing, I'd say that's your answer right there. The ball is in his court after all...
