Coke is just a kind of nickname for Coca-Cola, it's juat a shorter name and easier to get out of your mouth when ordering I suppose.

Coca-Cola is the registered name for the Coca-Cola Company. It's the official name of the drink as well.

Cola (which actually came from the name Coca-Cola like Xerox did for photo copying and Kleenex did for tissues, becoming generic) is any sweet carbonated drink, usually with caramel coloring and containing caffeine. Like Coke, Pepsi, RC, they're the "colas". Sprite, Mountain Dew, 7up (which used to be called the "Un-Cola") are not catagorized as colas at all because of the coloring. I hope this helps!

Well,
Coke: a name for a cola beverage mostly sold in the US only...
Cola: is the nut that is actually not really good to eat alone (I tried it), mostly found in tropical and equatorial regions of the earth.
Coca-Cola: is a brand like Pepsi. but it's also the name of a beverage derivated from the Cola nut (normally).

But Coca-Cola is the best cola beverage in the world. I tried American Cola, Pepsi Cola, Coke... nothing near...
And Coca-Cola in Africa is way better than other places around the planet... I tried the ones in France, US...not that good either

Well...here in the South every kind of soft drink is a coke. Example, we'll say "what kind of coke do you want?" to which the reply may be "i want a dr pepper". I haven't heard of this being done in other areas of the country. But, a Coke and a Coca-Cola are the same thing. Cola can be any other brand than Coke...like RC, Pepsi, and generic stuff.

Coke and Coca-Cola are both registered trademarks of the Coca-Cola company, although coke is also slang for something else. Cola is the generic term for brown fizzy pop, which is why Pepsi can call their product Pepsi-Cola.

Coke is in reference to the "new" recipe that was created by coke back in the 80's and Coca-Cola refers to the original recipe and then the recipe they went back to after the "new" coke turned out to be a flop.

Cola is any other "black" pop that can not be called coke because coke is a name brand.

Coke - usally means a Coca-cola but in the southern US in can mean any carbonated soft drink or soda. It can also be short for cocaine.

Cola - This is non-brand name. This is any bevarage made from the cola nut or, these days, any artifically made to taste like it was made from the cola nut.

Coca-Cola - This is a brand name. Their main product is a cola that has the same name as the brand. It has the word coca in it because they used to put coca in it. That is the plant they make cocaine from.
