God does not approve of anyone attempting to learn of the future except what He has revealed in The Holy Bible. He does not approve of anyone attempting to contact the dead for any reason. He does not approve of playing games or telling stories about sorcery. God does not approve anyone seeking power from any of these sources. They are all Satanic/Demonic. Anyone who does these things or anyone who consults such is in danger of burning in hell forever.
I pray you will believe this and accept the fact that you are a sinner needing to be saved from your sins (“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23, The Holy Bible.) and accept the fact that the blood Jesus Christ shed for you at Calvary is the only way you can have your sins forgiven, cleansed and removed and is the only way you can get to heaven. I pray you will acknowledge that you are a sinner and ask Jesus Christ to forgive, cleanse and remove all you sins and accept Him into your heart/life to live for Him the rest of your life. (“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12, in the Holy Bible.) That is what it means to be born again. (“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 in The Holy Bible.) Salvation is a free gift. You cannot work for it. You cannot be good enough to earn it. You must, by faith, receive it as a free gift. (“8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.”) Ephesians 2:8-9.
God loves you and it is not His will that you perish in hell.

I put "gods" in quotations only because these spirits are not necessarily worshipped, by are looked at as intermediaries to another, larger god that humans cannot speak to directly. Ancestors are also asked for help as intermediaries. They believe that everyone has spirits around them that they are meant to serve in return for blessings. Often during religious ceremonies, people will allow themselves to be possessed by these spirits.
