over the counter medication? If so, does anyone know the names of the medications?

I haven't heard anything about that but what I HAVE been told is NOT to eat anything with poppy seeds if you are to be taking a drug test. They show up as opiates. If you do happen to then make sure to inform the technicians in the lab so they know.

yes but I am not sure what prescription drugs would do it. I do know you stand a chance for a positive drug test taking some over the counter sinus/allergy meds (pseudophedrine mostly but I think there are other drugs that do it, but that is used to make meth) also I know that codeine will screw it up but I dont think that it would be for meth, also poppy seeds will show as a drug (heroin I think would be the one it would show up as) and you dont have to eat a boat load of them. the amount on a poppy seed bagel is enough to throw off a drug test if you eat the bagel then go in for the test it will show up.

Yes maybe, because I know that meth is made from all sorts of different over-the-counter drugs and many other stuff too. So maybe the test detected a number of prescription drugs and automatically gave a positeve outcome. That sounds possible don't it?
