--Eucharist--

Far and above all else is the Eucharist, whether it be in receiving or in Eucharistic adoration. Nothing better than to kneel before the Lord of History and the source of your salvation. The Eucharist centers ones soul upon Christ and puts the whole day in cosmological context.

There are plenty of excellent books on the topic such as

God Is Near Us: The Eucharist, the Heart of Life
by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger

A Key to the Doctrine of the Eucharist
by Abbot Vonier

The best part is going to church and saying grace with the family before eating. The family that prays together, stays together. That's not a quotation from the Bible. That's from the school of hard knocks. .

Why aren't you allowing people to quote from the Bible when that is a primary source of a Catholic's beliefs? That doesn't make any sense. Why don't you ask a question about Constitutional Law and demand that the precedent, common law pronouncements, or the constitution not be quoted while you are at it? Idiot.

The best part of the Catholic faith is the Eucharist in which we recieve the Body and Blood of Christ. It is the sacrament in which we receive Jesus.
