I'm not bulimic nor anorexic, I'm 5 ft 5, 112lbs, and I wanna lose 10 pounds and that's it, I do work out but the results are just too slow.

Don't tell me how bad Anorexia or Bulimia are, I probably already know everything you'd tell me about them.
Don't tell me I need to workout more, an hour a day is exhausting already.
and please don't tell me to eat healthy, I do eat healthy, but I can't stop eating Chocolate and pepperoni pizza sometimes!

I wanna throw up once aday after my main meal, I will brush my teeth immediately afterwards and I will take vitamins.

My question is, is it so addictive that I'm gonna forget what my goals were? and is it true that I might not be able to stop anytime I want?
Any tips?
No smart a$$ answers please, I know I know I need help.

Yes it can get addicting, my friend wanted to lose weight and then couldn't stop. It became habit and the "normal" thing to do. Also throwing up hurts your esophagus and there isn't anything to cure that. Good luck with everything.

First I want to ask a candid question: Are you seeking attention by this behavior? Are you just fishing for complements and people swooning "ooh you're only 112 pounds!" If not, then read the following so I know you're serious.

I want to start off by saying that I went through something similar, except I believe I was more in the "eating disorder" state--I was 85 pounds. Now I gained some weight and am 95lbs which is much better and much healthier than what I was before.

So do you really think you're fat? Unless your job requires you to be thin (think dancer), then you don't need to lose any more weight. Throwing up won't help--you already absorb calories while you chew, while its briefly in your stomach. You may feel like you're not gaining calories but you already are. You need to focus on fruits and veggies and whole grains. If you want to be in shape, eat a diet of no less than 1200 calories a day and exercise.

So what if you eat some pizza once in awhile. Being thin is not about dieting, its about a life choice. Think moderation instead of total denial (which will lead to binging).

Good luck.

There is absolutely no need for you to do any of this. You're so tiny already! Being 102lbs is not enough. I would think that you are at the perfect weight for your body. Maybe even a little bit on the skinny side.

Throwing up after meals is addictive. Once you hit your current goal, it won't seem like it's enough. Being addicted also means that you won't be able to stop when you want.

My tip is to stop while your ahead.

haha yikes - I'm 5'5 and my goal weight is to be 125-130lbs!! I would never want to be that thin, just because I don't think it looks good. However, that being said, I am an advocate of throwing up food once in a while. It is incredibly addictive though and you really have to make sure you keep yourself in check. I made a rule that I could only throw up food that was bad for me (like pizza) and if I threw up 2 or 3 times in one day, I couldn't throw up the next day. Basically it had to average out to vomiting once per day. Even that got to be a bit accessive though and I got a tiny tear in my esophogus which caused me to puke up blood.....talk about a scare!
So just keep yourself in check. Everyone is differetn and has their own ideal weight, but if you ask me, you're way too thin already.

Well anytime we try to find easy answers to a problem it has negative results. I am an expert at it and it has not gotten me far.
Proper diet and exercises are the only good ways to loose weight, that's why I can't. We all know that but it still sucks.

I did throw up when I was a teenager and it ruined my teeth and gave me permanent heart burn, by hurting my esophagus. And I did not do it for very long. It can also throw off your electrolytes and kill you even if you do not do it allot. I know you know it is not good for you, but it's not all about the physical act, it's about hurting yourself in the name of looking good. You are probably at your ideal weight, but the culture tortures us with an ideal that is not natural. Look at old art or people in tribal cultures, they are not all thin. It is not normal to be super thin.

I hope you can make piece with yourself. I know it is hard with all the media images telling us how deficient we are, but I think it is really the only way to feel OK. When I was very thin (not super skinny), I still thought I was fat. It's all about how we feel about ourselves, not how we look. Good luck to you!

I hope you get a good answer that helps you.

Wow, your story sounds exactly like how are started out. I was working out at first, but decided that I would cut down on food and purge my dinner..then when I saw that I was dropping pounds I knew I couldn't stop. You start playing through crazy things in your head like "what if I stop? will i just gain it all back?" I never planned on having anorexia/bulimia and honestly it kind of got out of control before I realized it. Something happens in our heads when we are getting positive results from whatever we are doing to achieve those goals and it makes it really hard to stop. I'm still struggling years later. That doesn't mean that you will get sucked into it like so many girls I know, but what if you do? Good luck, girl

Im sorry but you are already underweight and from some of my friends experiences Its pretty addictive, You begin to think 'Just two more pounds' and that is bulimia nervosa and as much as you dont want to hear how bad it is for you it is. Not to mention after you loose the pounds so quickly your body will need to catch up and youll be loosing the weight but your body wont change as quickly and you'll be saying to your self 'I dont look 102, I still look fat' So to summorize, I wouldn't because eating disorders are deadly and take control quickly.

Sorry if you didnt want to hear that

Once you get into the habit of throwing up, it is very difficult to stop yourself because there will always be one more pound you wish you'd loose. You need to give up the chocolate and pizza. That'll help you take off those 10 pounds.

Yes, it becomes a habit like excercising regularly.
Difference is that that you don't want to hear happens, and then you have big work ahead of you, if you ever make it after that .
Do it naturally and stay healthy, or do it unnaturally - and pay the price.Where is the fire anyway ? Why in such a hurry ?

I know you don't want to hear it, but, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, what you are proposing sounds like bulimia. Bulimia is often less about food, and more to do with deep psychological issues and profound feelings of lack of control. You say you need help. That's a good first step but why aren't you getting it?
