Funny thing about diet pills, notice how every single one of them says "works best with healthy diet and exercise?" It's because diet pills don't work. Other than having lypo suction, the only way to shed pounds is diet and exercise.

If you have to ask, then you probably aren't ready for them anyway. Talk to you parents and a doctor about your proper diet before doing things like diet pills. Most diet pills are diuretics, which means that you are just losing water weight, not actually losing fat. Eat properly and exercise! Skinny doesn't come in a pill or we would all be movie stars.

Diet pills damage metabolism in long run. If you have no problem sleeping then take some sleeping pills. Then you won't be able to sleep. They are not as bad as birth control pills (see site).
Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

not good. I work with a girl who took diet pills, yes she lost 20 lbs. in less than a 2 weeks without exercise. But she went crazy while she was on the pills. Became paranoid about everything and extremely moody. Became mean to all her friends and co-workers.Within 6 months she got fired because she thought she was better than what she was doing and refused to show up to work. Be careful!!!!

Depend on where you are in the world. The NHS in UK offers 3 different types of diet pills and each works differently. It depends on your size and body mass index. They are all prescribable and not available as over the counter medications as you need to be monitored closely by your practice nurse.

tough question to answer not knowing who and how old you are. if you live in a big city, go to 24 hour fitness, they can provide you with the correct guidence based on your goals because diet pills will never work long term and doing it the right way.

Please do not bother!
I took them years ago and managed to lose 7lbs in the first week as soon as I stopped taking them I gained the weight.
They had speed in them - made me wonder why I was cleaning my bedroom at 5am?!
