On the Nissan website it says Winter 2006 it will be out

2007 Nissan Altima
What: Nissan's first hybrid
When: Late 2006 or early 2007

Regular Altima has a base price of $24,530 and introduction of hybrid is most likely to add another $3000 to it. However there was no formal announcement about the pricing of 2007 Nissan Altima hybrid car. Nissan contract with Toyota restricts it with only 50,000 units per year.

The NIssan Altima is due out the later part of the year.

I handle all the inventory for our dealership and the Altimas slighted for delivery in mid-September are still the 2006 models.

We have received 2007 models of the Quest, Maxima, and the all-new Versa.

you can checkout www.nissanusa.com for more information on the 2007 model.
