instead of cannoeing just ask them all to go round to your house for a little get together, then make an excuse to leave the room where all your friends are when you feel comfortable in doin so, and ask him if he could help you bring some drinks out from the kitchen to the room, or say you need some fresh air and go outside, just think you both sitting outside in the fresh air, the sun starting to set.. well i guess its more romantic than gettin asked out on a canoe gettin attacked by waterflies, with a boff.. if you set it up youll be in control.. good luck i hope you get together and have a great relationship :)

I think that there is a communication problem because you are friends and only two of you know about it but not you. So, I can tell you that "like each other--- A LOT." is not extraordinary it happens to every body at all times even when they are married because this is natural thing; you either like it or not; you named it. But, he doesn't trust you but he does trust more than you the other friend. What you should do? Is up to you, the question is; what are the expectations you have in your personal life?
