Well, all generalizations are false, so I don't feel as if I can give any definite age. People do mature differently due to life circumstances.

I was 13 when I had my first boyfriend. (Having a boyfriend is not the same thing as going out with someone, despite how people in middle school and lower high school like to use the concepts interchangeably.) Looking back, I wish that he had not been my boyfriend, because I learned more about the male mind than I wanted to know at that age. Still, I learned a lot and that knowledge gives a frame of reference for all new guys that I meet, for better or for worse.

How old should you be? I can't say when someone will begin to appreciate you for who you are and will want to call you his girlfriend. Still, I would wait to have a real boyfriend until I was 15. You will want to be emotionally prepared for various issues, like clarifying your limits to physical intimacy, because they will probably want to test to see how far you will go.

When should you start dating? Well, that's a different can of worms. ^_^

Well i had my first bf whne i was 11. But now that i look back I was way to young. So you should probably be at an age where you know what ur doing. 15 or 16 is a good age.

at an early age, boys and girls have feeling for some one in there class or church, or even down there street.

But, to consider having someone as a friend to date is to be considered not just by yourself but your parents as well, because if you want it to be right, you should involve your parents, to see what they think and to get guidance from them.

Don't be afraid to ask your parents questions, this is or can be the most critical part of your life and to blow it, by hiding it, is not the love you want to remember as your first.

Girls mature at different ages and it's usually the parents that realize when they are ready for the first boyfriend. Have a talk with your Mom and see what she thinks....she's your best freind right now and will be very honest with you...

Any age. Heck once in kidnergarden, this guy tried to marry my friend lol! But seriously-I think I had my first in 6th grade. I know people that had them in the 4th and 5th grade too.
But whenever you think ur ready, that is the age ur ready. Everybody is different. :-)
