why do guys trip and get so mad when thier girls make fat remarks about them selves or say they need to stop eating so much and work out more?? if thats how the girl really feels why do yall trippppppp?

Coz you whine and complain, then do JS about it for like 2 months, gain weight and start whining & complaining again. It's really annoying. Either eat & swell & be happy OR exercise & diet. PLEASE!
Jeeze....yer talking about the gal telling her bf he's fat and should work out more???????? Is that it?? You've got a huge problem there, lady. Hope that next time you ask yer bf: "Do I look fat in this?" he'll say: "Yah, gosh, you've really gone chubby!"

Sorry, I know you said guys only but you don't have to be a guy to answer this question. It's because telling that to someone is extremely rude, even if it is true. Put yourself in his shoes. How would YOU feel is someone did that to you? Awful is how. It's a very hurtful thing to say and just says that you don't care about his feelings at all. Because you know, it really isn't about what's on the outside. If you love someone, you love them lovehandles and all. My husband's got a gut on him that rivals the belly I had when I was 9 months pregnant but I still think he's the sexiest man alive and I wouldn't dream of telling him things like that. It's just hurtful, hon.

Well guys trip out when they can't control things and just try to control how someone feels about themselves (it doesn't work). I think if a girl wants to maintain her appearance and health she just usually does it (same for guys), ...going on and on about it is probably more a self esteem issue than reality or true intentions.

Because girls exaggerrate about that stuff and buy into this idea in American culture that it is important to look perfect all of the time. Well a lot of girls look great but they buy into this self-image crap and it is really annoying because the media is always telling people how to look act talk, etc.

You find someone's weakness and nag them on it, Imagine if your guy found your weakness and was nagging you, wouldn't you get emotional too? Its what makes us human, thats the ultimate answer and testosterone helps guys get more violent than women.
