i have liked this boy for like a year now. i told him how i felt but he said he just wanted to be friends so now that i'm trying to get over him, his brother is trying to talk to me thru myspace. and i find his brother very attractive. so what should i do, still try to be with the boy that i liked first or persue his brother???

Considering that the first guy said he wasn't interested in more than friendship with you, I would go out with the brother as he obviously is interested.
However, make sure you are actually interested in his brother and this isn't just a way for you to get closer to the brother you do like..... Mayke sure your intentions are true so nobody gets hurt!

Life is too short and if you like each other what are you waiting for??... the other guy (brother) already told you he JUST wants to be friends so, there is nothing to be ashamed of afraid of.. GO FOR IT! enjoy life!
If it makes you feel better, maybe you can let the guy that you are going to start talking with his brother.. be honest and see how he reacts. Good luck!

I think your 'likings' to this guy (and the brother) are for the wrong reasons.
I dont know how old you are... but judging by the question... and what you are experiancing, you seem to be in your early teens, or maybe 17, 18 years old. If I am right... this seems to be a very common way to deal with rejection....
My advice is to walk away from him and his Brother. He made it clear he just wants to be friends... and now liking his Brother will just make matters more confusing.
Be friends with them... but dont make it any more....... stick to the friendship.... and enjoy life. Love will come to you... but patience is important.

If the guy has told u he just wants to be friends then the question is answered.You can't keep pursueing someone and except them to change their mind. If he's not attracted to u then he probably won't be next week either. If you like his brother then go for it.

Wow, you sure are keeping it in the family huh! Well, first question is are you friends with the first brother you liked? Because if you are, if you go out with his brother, you can forget it about being friends with him, if you are not, than I say go for it, fair game. But, be very careful becasue you might be the cause of a family fued.

If you think it'll hurt your friendship with this boy, then I wouldn't go for it. At the same time you should follow your heart. It won't lead you astray. Is his brother just trying to be friends or is he suggesting more? Ask your friend what he'd think of you going out with his brother. Good luck.

You've already been told that he just wants to be friends. If you like his brother I say go for it! He can't be mad at you because he left the door wide open for you to move on as far as love interests go - right?
