No, it is not illegal to hire an escort. In most states prostitution is illegal (not Nevada) so if you asked this person to perform in a sexual activity that would be illegal in most states.

No. Escorting is perfectly legal, as long as you're not paying them for sex.
That being said, most escorts offer sex. Just make sure you don't bring up the money for sex discussion --- until her tongue is down your throat or somewhere down below. They will think you are a cop.
Put the money in an envelope in the hotel bathroom (the amount you agreed upon through email or phone discussion). Then, they'll do the rest.
Oh yeah, if she grabs the envelope, make sure you don't let her back out the hotel room until the services are complete. If she makes an excuse, such as she forgot something, make sure to get the money back before she heads out the door.

hiring an escort is not illegal. you are hiring an individual to accompany you, just as you would hire a chef or limo driver. what you DO in that time, is why her company costs so much. ;)
